1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Mefolio, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Mefolio on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. What Mefolio is
Mefolio is a link-in-bio platform. It lets you create a single public page that carries your links, social profiles, media, QR code and other content, and gives you tools to manage, customise and understand that page. Mefolio is currently provided as a free service. Nothing in these terms requires you to pay to use Mefolio today.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mefolio. If you are under the age where your local law requires parental or guardian consent to use an online service, you must have that consent before creating an account. You are responsible for making sure your use of Mefolio is lawful in the country where you live.
4. Your account
You must keep your password secure and you are responsible for everything done through your account. Choose a strong password and do not share it. If you believe your account has been compromised, reset your password and contact us. Your username must not impersonate another person or organisation, and must not be offensive or misleading. Accounts are for people; automated or bulk account creation is not allowed.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Mefolio to publish or link to anything unlawful, including phishing, malware, fraud, illegal content, content that infringes someone's intellectual property, or content that promotes violence, terrorism or illegal activity. Do not harass, threaten or impersonate others. Do not attempt to interfere with the service, its servers or other users. Do not attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access.
6. Your content and your responsibility for links
You are solely responsible for the content on your page, including the links you add and the pages those links lead to. By publishing content on Mefolio you confirm that you have the right to publish it. We are a platform and are not responsible for, and do not endorse, the third-party websites, products or services your links lead to. You are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of any third-party service you link to.
7. Intellectual property
Mefolio and its branding, design, software and content are owned by the Mefolio operator and its licensors. You keep the rights to the content you upload to Mefolio. By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to host, store, display and process that content solely to operate and improve the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to any back-ups required for the normal operation of the service.
8. Analytics and privacy
Mefolio collects analytics about visits to public pages (for example views, clicks, referrer, device and approximate geography). Raw IP addresses are not stored; IP and user-agent data is hashed before storage. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. By using the service you agree to that collection as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Free service and payments
Mefolio is currently free and payments are not active. There are no paid plans, no subscriptions and no billing on Mefolio today. Do not submit payment details or attempt to complete a purchase through Mefolio; no purchase is required and no subscription is active through the app. Any payment-related pages or controls that exist are reserved for a future release and will not process a real charge while payments are disabled.
10. Future paid features
We may add paid features in the future. If and when paid features are introduced, they will be subject to their own terms and pricing, and you will only be charged if you actively choose and confirm a paid purchase. The current free service will not become paid retroactively without notice and, where required, your consent.
11. Moderation, suspension and termination
We may review content on Mefolio and take action against accounts that violate these terms, including removing content, issuing warnings, suspending access or terminating accounts. We will generally try to notify you before or after such action where possible. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings, which removes your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Mefolio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service may be changed, updated, suspended or discontinued at any time, with reasonable notice where practical. You are responsible for keeping copies of anything you rely on.
13. Disclaimers
Mefolio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we are not responsible for content published by users.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Mefolio operator and its staff, agents and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms will not exceed the amount you paid to use the service in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is zero.
15. Third-party services
Mefolio relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, including database hosting, media storage, email delivery, rate limiting and, when enabled, optional AI assistance. These providers process data only as necessary to operate the service and are described in our Privacy Policy. AI assistance features are optional; when you use them, the text you submit may be sent to the AI provider and should not contain information you are not comfortable sharing.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you reside outside Pakistan, you may also have rights under the consumer-protection laws of your own country, and nothing in these terms limits those rights. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pakistan, unless your local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
